I've started my Driving practical like a week ago? Had already went for 2 lessons. The first day of any lessons, be it first day of school, first day of work, first day of everything, because you're new to the environment, you'll tend to look so dumb which what I'll normally do to cover it up is observe where people go and act as if I've came for like several times?
First lesson was driving in circuit, going round and round, changing from Gear 1 to 2, learning how to turn at bends and driving in lane. On top of that, with confidence from the instructor, I drove down the ramp during my first lesson! But, I did something dangerous after that. =X During a sharp turn, I accelerated so quickly subconsciously that I nearly bang onto the car that was negotiating a bend. Luckily, I turned back on time. A mistake that nearly cause an accident.
Second lesson was driving on roads. I was really nervous and also very cautious when driving. I din dare to accelerate at all. The engine stalled like 10 times during the 2 hrs? Instructor was kinda pekcek. Oh well, I know I needed more practices.
Nastja from Slovenia whom I met in Germany, stopped by Singapore for a tour last week. It was great to see her after a year or so! As she also met the next batch of NYP students who went to Germany, Zhiyin and I only met her 1-2 days strolling along town area and Marina Bay. But din manage to send her off at the airport. I do hope that I can visit her some day at Slovenia. Also, to Finland to find Annemari.
Sat, Baby and I went to Woodlands Waterfront after my dance. It was my second time there while first for Dear. Like the first time I went, there was a crowd, many of which were families. While the breeze came, we walked on the long stretch of pathway, witnessing young kids, parents to old folks enjoying every moment, we too felt their warmth and happiness. I'm sure Dear had many thoughts as well. (:
Ytd morning, I woke everybody up for the Newpaper Big Walk @ Marina Bay. Though tired as they were, everyone still woke up and ready for the Big Walk! Off we went, the crowds were more than expected. Brother, Dear and I met a few friends along the way. After the walk, we sat at the river side watching people kayaking. Passed by the carnival and had morning breakfast at Lau Pa Sat. We came home at 12noon and we were all bushed. However, it made a lot of difference from our usual Sunday morning whereby we laze on the bed till 11am. It made me felt that I've lived my day to the fullest.
This Wed, my brother will be having his SMU Graduation Day @ RWS! How grand is that! Even their Grad Night was at Shangri-la Hotel! I'm sure mummy is so proud of him. I am too. :D
What should I do today? Finish my July Cleo Magazine, have my eyebrow trimmed, dye my hair and hopefully clean up my room again or perhaps I should do it on Thur or Fri with my mum at home.
